1. Discussing your design
We have an initial meeting, ideally in person (or a site visit if the piece is planned to be installed somewhere specific) but potentially over video call if need be - we’ll discuss what you might be interested in, any existing pieces you’ve seen and liked, your budget, timeframe, all that good stuff.
-
2. Design sketches
I’ll go away and come up with a series of initial design sketches to allow us to talk about the planned piece in greater detail. These sketches come with guide prices, which can then be nailed down once we have a final design agreed on.
-
3. Final drawing
Once we’ve agreed on a final design I’ll produce a full-size drawing with rough colours worked out, which we’ll go over to make any final minor adjustments before production begins. This will also allow me to give you a final price for the piece.

4. Making your piece
I go and buy a lot of glass, and get to work making your piece, which can take anywhere from a week to a few months depending on the size and complexity of the project.
-
5. Delivery and jubilation
I deliver your piece to you, and you are delighted with it.
